Tier 5 (Temporary Worker) - 24 Jul 2016

Tier 5 (Temporary Worker)Tier 5 (Temporary Worker) is a visa category which enables individuals to come and work in the UK for up to 12 months (and in some cases up to 24 months) to satisfy cultural, religious, charitable and international objectives.

The main criteria to be met in order to be eligible for a Tier 5 (Temporary Worker) visa include having a sponsor who is able to issue a certificate of sponsorship to the applicant and having sufficient funds not to become a burden on the State.

Excluding the Tier 5 (Youth Mobility) visa (which has different requirements), there are five different types of Tier 5 (Temporary Worker) visas:

- Tier 5 (Temporary Worker – Charity Worker);

- Tier 5 (Temporary Worker – Creative and Sporting);

- Tier 5 (Temporary Worker – Government Authorised Exchange);

- Tier 5 (Temporary Worker – International Agreement); and

- Tier 5 (Temporary Worker – Religious Worker).
