Tier 2 (Minister of Religion) is a visa category which enables individuals to work in the UK in the capacity of Preacher, Pastor, Missionary or Member of a Religious Order within a faith community.
In order to be eligible for a Tier 2 (Minister of Religion) visa, an applicant is required to show that they are being sponsored by an employer who is licensed by UKVI to issue certificates of sponsorship. You can check if your prospective employer has a licence by clicking here.
There are of course a number of additional criteria that need to be satisfied in order for an application to be successful.
