Tier 2 (Intra Company Transfer) is a visa category which allows international employers to transfer their overseas employees to the UK.
In order to transfer an overseas employee to the UK, an employer will first have to obtain a sponsorship licence from UKVI. Once this is done, and provided all the legal requirements are met, the employer can assign a certificate of sponsorship to the overseas employee.
The overseas employee will then have to use the certificate of sponsorship to apply for a Tier 2 (Intra Company Transfer) visa.
